Below you will find helpful information about our Christmas and New Year activities and events for 2023.

What date do your Christmas decorations go up?
Our Christmas decorations will be up by end of November.

If I can’t get there because of inclement weather?
Unless Coldra Court Hotel is forced to close due to the inclement weather, we will not be able to refund or transfer bookings.

Can you offer transport?
We do not operate transport to or from Coldra Court Hotel. View directions here.

Do I have to pay for parking?
Yes, all of our carparks are chargeable. View charges here.

How do I order a taxi?
Taxis can be booked from the main reception desk.

Can you send me a Christmas brochure?
We do not have a printed Christmas Brochure. All information relating to festive stays, dining and party nights can be found on our website.

Can I book Christmas lunch if I am not a hotel guest?
Yes, visitors and hotel guests can book at The Rib Smokehouse & Grill or The Severn Suite.

Can I visit the Coldra Court Hotel on Christmas Day if I am not a hotel guest?
Our hotel is open on Christmas Day to those who have a pre-booked reservation for either lunch or accommodation.

Will Santa be visiting on Christmas Day?
This will be confirmed closer to the date. Please check our website for updates on visits and timings

How do I inform you of dietary requirements?
Please let us know of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Alternatively, you can add these on to your reservation using the ‘Manage Your Booking’ function on our website.

I don’t like the menu. Can you provide something else?
Whilst we will make every effort to cater for all dietary requirements, we are unable to provide alternatives to the set menu outside of those requirements.

Can I see the special dietary menu?
This menu will not be released until closer to the date. Please check the website for updates.

How do I reduce the number of people in my party?
Please contact the events team on 01633 410 252 to reduce the numbers within your party. Please note that all deposits are non refundable and non transferable

How do I add more people to my party?
Please do this through the ‘Manage Your Booking’ tool on our website. You will only be able to add guests if there is availability at that time. You will be required to pay in full at the time of booking, for any additional guests

What are your payment terms?
Full prepayment or a deposit is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated. Payments are non-refundable, non-transferable.

How do I book Accommodation? Is there a discount?
Party night bedroom rates are available on our website. Please book online using the promo code PARTYNT. Subject to availability.

What are your payment terms?
Full prepayment will be required for all parties at the time of booking. We are not able to provisionally hold places at any of our parties, and we cannot accept part payments.

Will we be sat together?
We will do our best to sit large groups as close together as possible however this cannot be guaranteed and depends on the set up of the event.

Will we be joined with another group?
All of our party nights take place on tables of 10. Smaller groups may be joined to form one large table.

What is the dress code?
Please refer to our Christmas Party Night page for all details on the dress code.

If a party night is listed as ‘Sold Out’ can I add people to my group booking?
Unfortunately, if a party night is detailed as sold out on our website, we are unable to accept any further bookings or additional guests on previously made bookings.

Can I purchase drink tokens?
We are not selling drinks tokens at our party nights this year. Instead, drinks can be ordered to the table using a QR code, or from the bar.

Can I visit to see the venue before I book my party night?
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate site visits or show arounds of the venues prior to booking.

Can you send me an email with all the information on a party night in?
Please refer to our Christmas Party Night page for all available details.

I want to add more people to my party.
Please do this through the ‘Manage Your Booking’ tool on our website. You will only be able to add guests if there is availability on that party night. If the party night is full, please do not call the office as the team will not be able to add more guests to your booking.

I don’t drink. Will there be non-alcoholic options available?
Yes, we will provide a non-alcoholic alternative.
